Ground Room is an interior carved from earth and clay.

A continuous brick datum wraps walls, columns, and seating - the space warm and textured from threshold to centre. At its heart, a rammed earth counter anchors the ritual of roasting and brewing.

Material depth replaces ornament. Craft replaces spectacle. Art and coffee share the room without ceremony. The gallery sits within the everyday, held together by tactility and the quiet persistence of craft.

Brick slips wrap the walls, thresholds, and built elements in a warm architectural skin. Rammed earth forms the counter base - dense, mineral, and particular to this place. Hand-chipped mosaic stone introduces a finer grain, its texture worked by hand against the broader surfaces. Tight junctions, fine edges, and integrated seating allow the robustness of each material to read with precision. Nothing is applied. Everything is embedded.
