Concept
A long form settles onto the ridgeline - a single corten plane drawn between pasture and sky. Against the slope, it resolves to one quiet line. Elemental, unhurried, held by its own horizontal reach.

The roof extends beyond the rooms beneath, casting shadow and compressing the building into the hill. Shelter is found in that shadow. Spaces unfold gradually - enclosed and tactile at their core, opening toward wide coastal light at their edges.

The land rises. The sky moves. The building remains still.
Stone, concrete, corten, glass block, timber, and textured plaster form a sequence of rooms gathered beneath the heavy roof. Each material is distinct,  tactile, considered, earning its place in the sequence. Light is treated as material in itself. Drawn through narrow slots, filtered through sheer fabric, reflected across varying surfaces, then released toward the horizon.
